The Works of Don Rosa

Don Rosa is one of the most celebrated Disney Duck artists of all time, known for his intricate storytelling, rich details, and deep respect for Carl Barks' legacy. His works have captivated readers worldwide with their humor, adventure, and emotional depth.

This section is divided into two parts:

1. Pre-Duck Work – Before working with Disney, Don Rosa created original comics such as The Pertwillaby Papers and Captain Kentucky. These early works showcased his signature detailed art style and clever storytelling, laying the foundation for his later Duck stories.                                                                                                                  

2. Duck Work – In 1987, Don Rosa made his debut as a Disney artist with The Son of the Sun. Over the next two decades, he created some of the most beloved Scrooge McDuck and Donald Duck stories, including The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck, a 12-part epic exploring Scrooge’s origins. His stories expanded on Carl Barks’ universe, bringing even more depth to the Duck family.
