The Pertwillaby Papers
In 1971, Don Rosa started drawing for the Kentucky Kernel and created the Pertwillaby Papers. It consisted of 4-5 panel episodes in a weekly publication. First a political satire as per the wishes of the editor, then an adventure series when the editor changed. In 1973 the comic was paused until it was taken up by the Fanzine Rocket's Blast Comicollector #130 in 1976.
There were two whole stories published in RBCC and two episodes of Knighttime. Episode 140 of the Pertwillaby Papers was the last one published. He drew one more episode (141) but was never published in RBCC.
Fantagraghics released The Pertwillaby Papers in 1981 as Don Rosa's Comics and Stories in a two volume sereis.
In 2001 a Norwegian publication printed The Don Rosa Archives 1 - The Pertwillaby Papers which included episode #141. And in 2012 it was again published by Dani Books as the Don Rosa Classics: The Complete Pertwillaby Papers. The Greek Comic Club printed 500 copies of a Greek version in 2014.
